Program Overview
This comprehensive 300-hour certification program offers a deep dive into the principles and practices of Ayurveda. The curriculum focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and fundamental counseling techniques to support personal and community wellness. Topics include Ayurvedic anatomy, physiology, nutrition, lifestyle, herbology, and foundational counseling skills, all aimed at fostering holistic well-being.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
•Explain Ayurvedic principles, including doshas, gunas, Panchamahabhutas, and their role in health and disease.
•Perform basic Prakriti (constitution) and Vikriti (imbalance) assessments.
•Recommend individualized diets, lifestyles, and daily routines based on Ayurvedic principles.
•Understand Ayurvedic herbology fundamentals and prepare simple home remedies.
•Apply foundational Ayurvedic counseling skills to promote wellness.
Program Structure
The course consists of 12 modules, each blending theoretical and practical components:
Module 1: Foundations of Ayurveda (30 Hours)
•History and philosophy of Ayurveda
•Goals: Svasthya Rakshana (health maintenance) and Vikara Prashamana (disease management)
•Sankhya philosophy and Panchamahabhuta theory
•Introduction to Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
Module 2: Ayurvedic Anatomy and Physiology (30 Hours)
•Overview of Sharira Rachana (anatomy) and Sharira Kriya (physiology)
•Dhatus (tissues), Malas (waste), and Agni (digestive fire)
•Srotas (channels): Functions and imbalances
Module 3: Prakriti and Vikriti Assessment (25 Hours)
•Understanding Prakriti: Physical, mental, and emotional traits
•Determining Vikriti using basic tools
•Practical: Hands-on Prakriti and Vikriti assessments
Module 4: Ayurvedic Nutrition (35 Hours)
•The six tastes (Rasas) and their effect on doshas

Module 6: Nidana Panchaka (Diagnostics) (25 Hours)
•Hetu (causes), Purvarupa (early signs), Rupa (symptoms), Samprapti (pathogenesis), Upashaya/Anupashaya (trial methods)
•Practical application in identifying imbalances
Module 7: Ayurvedic Psychology (Manasa Shastra) (25 Hours)
