Dear Yogamu Family,
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and express gratitude for the blessings in our lives. For us at Yogamu, that includes not only our families and friends but also you—our extended family of students.
It all began with a simple (and somewhat humorous) experiment: trying to make yoga pants after learning about fibers ending up in fish. Sewing didn’t work out for me, but in the process, I found something even more impactful—offering accessible yoga teacher training and meditation courses. What started small has grown into something truly extraordinary, and it’s all thanks to you.
Today, whether you’re in Austria or Australia, Bahrain or Costa Rica, South Africa or Chile, Yoga connects us all. As Shri Krishna reminds us in the Gita, yoga is “a journey of the Self, through the Self, to the Self.” It knows no borders or discrimination—it is union.
With your support, Yogamu has touched lives in over 80 countries. Together, we’ve provided more than 3,400 scholarships, supported free health camps, donated food and clothing to Indian schools, and contributed to global organizations like Save the Children and Mercy Ships. This impact is only possible because of your generosity.
To show our appreciation, we are adding a FREE course, “Therapeutic Applications of Yoga and Ayurveda,” to your Teachable account in the coming weeks. This gift is a token of gratitude, and we hope it helps you and your loved ones stay happy and healthy. No action is required—it will appear automatically, complete with certification upon completion.
Thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff, and hundreds of volunteers who work tirelessly to support our mission. We know growth comes with challenges, but thanks to all of you, we’re overcoming them together.
I wish you and your families a beautiful Thanksgiving. I hope to see you in my free Sadhana sessions Monday to Wednesday at 6:30 AM PST—our special time to connect and breathe mindfully as one Yogamu family.
Once again, thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Together, we are making yoga and Ayurveda accessible to all—transforming it into a matter of the heart, not privilege.
Namaste,
Nikolai
